D A Y 1 . GREAT SEA REEF MOMI
We start with the pristine Great Sea Reef in Momi. This enchanting destination boasts crystal-clear waters and a vibrant coral ecosystem, perfect for snorkelling and diving enthusiasts. Immerse yourself in the colourful marine life and explore the wonders beneath the surface.

BULIA
Visit the charming village of Bulia. Here, you’ll engage in cultural exchanges, witness traditional ceremonies, and savor the flavours of Fijian cuisine. The lush landscapes and friendly faces of Bulia leave a lasting impression.

MOALA
A picturesque island in the Southern Lau archipelago awaits you offering stunning beaches and lush tropical vegetation. Explore the island’s natural beauty, go hiking to take in panoramic views, or simply relax on the sandy shores.

VANUAVATU
This island is a haven for nature lovers, with its dense rainforests and diverse wildlife. Embark on jungle treks to discover unique flora and fauna or simply unwind on the tranquil beaches. A destination for those seeking a close connection with nature.

VATOA & ONO-I-LAU ISLANDS
A double dose of beauty. Vatoa, with its stunning beaches and pristine waters, is perfect for swimming and water activities. Ono-i-Lau is known for its impressive limestone caves, inviting you to explore their mysterious depths.

DAY AT SEA
Enjoy a relaxing and restorative day onboard. There will be special lectures and activities as the ship transits from Fiji to the Kingdom of Tonga.

TONGATAPU
The largest island in the Kingdom of Tonga. Here, you can delve into Tonga’s rich cultural heritage by visiting ancient archaeological sites and the Royal Palace. The island’s vibrant markets and friendly locals add to the charm of this stop.

HA’APAI NORTHERN
As you arrive in the northern region of Ha’apai, you’ll witness the serene beauty of Tonga’s outer islands. These remote atolls offer incredible opportunities to observe the annual humpback whale migration. Join guided whale-watching excursions to witness these majestic creatures in their natural habitat. You can even join an excursion to swim with whales, an unforgettable highlight of your journey.

VAVA’U
Renowned for its stunning coral reefs, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant marine life, makes it a paradise for snorkellers and divers. This lush island group is also famous for its natural beauty above the waterline, with dramatic cliffs, lush forests, and hidden caves to explore. The warm and welcoming local culture adds a unique experience to your visit, as you engage within the Tongan way of life and sample their delicious cuisine.

Your second day in Vava’u offers even more opportunities to immerse yourself in this tropical paradise. You can spend your time cruising the calm and sheltered bays or venture ashore to visit quaint villages and meet the friendly locals. Vava’u is known for its excellent whale-watching, so be sure to keep an eye out for humpback whales that migrate to these waters during certain months of the year, a truly awe-inspiring experience.

TOFUA VOLCANO
Visit Tofua Volcano, an active volcano located in the Ha’apai group of islands. This island provides a unique opportunity to witness the powerful forces of nature at work. While the volcano itself is generally inaccessible due to its active nature, you can marvel at its rugged landscape, black-sand beaches and the nearby submerged volcano, Kao.  It’s a day filled with geological wonders and a chance to appreciate the dynamic nature of our planet.

HA’APAI CENTRAL
This charming island group offers a more laid-back and tranquil experience compared to some of the busier tourist destinations. HA’APAI SOUTHERN

EUA ISLAND
A lush and rugged island known for dramatic cliffs, dense rainforests, and vibrant birdlife. Whether you choose to hike through the jungle to reach panoramic viewpoints or relax on the serene beaches, Eua offers a diverse range of activities for nature enthusiasts. Exploring its caves and limestone formations is another highlight, showcasing the island’s geological wonders.

DAY 15: TONGATAPU, TONGA
We return to Tongatapu, Tonga, where you can savour your final moments in this tropical paradise before disembarking.

This itinerary shows the Fiji to Tonga direction, for Tonga to Fiji the itinerary in the reverse.  The itinerary is an indicative of the destinations visited.  To enhance your expedition cruise experience, the Captain and onboard team may make necessary changes based on seasonal variations, weather, tidal conditions and any other event that may affect the operation of the vessel.
